LOST ITEM RETRIVAL

Steps to Increase Chance of Finding

IMG_1771.jpg

MARK THE LOCATION

  • If on a dock mark the exact location item fell from

  • If on a boat try and mark location with GPS

  • Find a geographic landmark to use as a reference

  • Try and figure out what tide you are in

  • DO NOT go in the water. Panic searching ends up stirring up the bottom and makes the find nearly impossible for the diver

CALL US ASAP

The sooner Padanaram Diving can deploy a diver, the higher the chances of retrieval.

Waiting is never a good idea. Currents, tides, and underwater prop wash will move your item, making the search more difficult. Additionally, the flow of water over the search area tends to bury the item under silt, making it nearly impossible to find the lost item.

LET US DO THE REST

Padanaram Diving has a crew of trained professional divers that use multiple techniques and technologies for lost item retrieval.

We use magnets, underwater metal detectors, and divers following a recovery search pattern to find lost items.
